Mute Soundproofing® applied Acoustic Door Seal Kits to new and existing doors, in order to isolate the sound source and significantly reduce sound passage, attenuating the level of noise travelling between adjoining classrooms and meeting rooms, whilst remaining sympathetic to the original style of the building. “It is very good that we have been able to preserve the period style of our doors and fittings…” says the general manager. “In particular, I would like to thank you for taking so much trouble to match the new doors to the pattern of the existing doors…” he continues, highlighting something which is particularly important when dealing with a Grade II listed building.

Mute Soundproofing® provides not only technical expertise, but also specific attention to design and finish; a solution to the noise problem combined with aesthetic awareness. “We would definitely use Mute again…” he concludes, “…in fact, the recent rooms that were done were prototypes for the whole building; there are another 20 rooms to do and we have decided to ask Mute to complete the work.”
